What do artists do in their spare time? They MAKE ART! They create whatever they can from whatever is at hand. Play is imperative! Really, everything is art. Everything is design. Go out and explore! Observe nature, Collect what you see that excites you! Make something out of it!

Proofs from the 1994 Rodin exhibition at the Portland Museum of Art. As an employee at the time, i acquired these very large photographs, taken during Rodin's funeral in 1917. They were destined for the trash and I couldn't bear to let that happen. with the recent, very distressing, infiltration of mice in my studio (summer 2024) I've been blocking off access points, Cleaning and rediscovering some of my collections. Why do I keep these unwieldy things? I guess my answer is Why not? I am an archivist at heart, Plus they are too cool to toss!
