My fascination with seaweed runs deep. I walk the beach often and do my visual research on the forms and movement of seaweed. I love Rock Weed in particular, also known as Bladder Wrack or Egg Wrack. Rockweed - Egg Wrack - Bladder Wrack... the many names for this seaweed that I love the most. I find it therapeutic and satisfying to work on these digital drawings. They are built up in many layers - then using a subtractive method they are excavated and pared down to their essence.
