Tiny World
In my print making process I create a lot of failed prints. What was once failed becomes fodder for Tiny World. Reduced in size the marks on paper condense and become something else. Something beautiful and precious. I began cutting up my old prints into tiny pots many look as if they are from an archaeological dig, while others seem fresh out of the kiln. Having a background in clay this thrills me and once again I have a new addiction!
The tiny pots are placed in Tiny Worlds: micro galleries, still Life tableau, grid work, interiors of one sort or another. I’ll play until my fascination runs out.
