Work and Education History
Timeline of places I worked and classes I took over my lifetime. I always worked hard from the time I was 15 years old until I was 59 years old. I never earned much money, but I never made that a priority either... Art became my real occupation and focus. As with the jobs I held over my lifetime, I never earned much money from my art either... But my art has sustained me throughout my life and it is my identity. I learned how to be a non-consumer while at the University. I have always been a DIYer, and very much about sustainability and using what is at hand, and that philosophy was deepened in college. While in school I took EVERY studio course I could get my hands on, and did not shy away from any medium. I wanted to experience it ALL and I took as many Art Studio courses as I could fit into a BFA degree: 2D and 3D Design, Drawing from beginner through advanced, Painting through advanced, Ceramics through advanced, Jewelry and Metal work, Sculpture through advanced, Printmaking,Non-Traditional Printmaking, Performance Art, Art History from Pre-History through late Modern Art.
