I spent my time cleaning and organizing and rearranging the living space. Only a few hundred square feet of it - but it is a big job to maintain!

]]><![CDATA[Clover Lawn]]>Mon, 03 Apr 2023 20:30:29 GMThttp://www.lauradunnart.com/blog/clover-lawnwhen we finally built our house and were ready to do the Landscaping I knew it was not going to be traditional lawn, I did some research and discovered Dutch White clover could be used as a ground cover. Here are some images of our clover lawn, it was so Lush and pillowy and I loved it! unfortunately it only lasted one season and the next spring it only came back sporadically... I did some research and found that our soil conditions weren't right for it so I ordered no-mow grass seed. I do like the no-mow lawn, but it does not have the same allure that this green carpet had!

I find it therapeutic and satisfying to work on these digital drawings. They are built up in many layers - then using a subtractive method they are excavated and pared down to their essence.

Two things I love to do - I love to be able to see what is what - and to organize it all to a manageable array. Here is one shelf of my pantry. I was able to kill two birds with one stone: I had a jumble of glass jars that I could not part with just taking up space, I began removing them from the pantry to bring them downstairs for storage when my mind put two and two together and I decided to empty out all the random bags of nuts and Grains and rice and Etc and contain them in my variety of glass jars. It is so much nicer! So easy to see what I have on hand. I love it!!
