Franklin Street Art Space
Solo Show
"Franklin Street Art Space is filled with new work by artist Laura Dunn. Dunn's pieces range from folk-art to high-art and show a remarkable eye for repurposing salvage materials. Influences of Maine artist Louise Nevelson can be seen in some of Dunn's wood collages. Dunn's delicate drawings transferred from her sketchbook and captured under wax on panel is the gallery favorite. Finding a way to reinvent a piece of scrap material is Dunn's talent. There are more than 40 pieces in this month's show"
