Today has been all about containment and organization. Two things I love to do - I love to be able to see what is what - and to organize it all to a manageable array. Here is one shelf of my pantry. I was able to kill two birds with one stone: I had a jumble of glass jars that I could not part with just taking up space, I began removing them from the pantry to bring them downstairs for storage when my mind put two and two together and I decided to empty out all the random bags of nuts and Grains and rice and Etc and contain them in my variety of glass jars. It is so much nicer! So easy to see what I have on hand. I love it!!

april fool's first snowy white morning musings.......  recently revisited this work created way back in 1998 while on sabbatical from life. Daily solo hikes, walks on beaches, meanders through endless days obsessively collecting anything of interest; ephemera, encrusted jetsam, natural beauties, then sorting, packaging in appropriately shaped and sized recycled/reused commercial packaging objects, stitching these to close, labelling some/most - then mailing from Hawaii to Lindy Hirst in New Mexico to document...
